An atmospheric water generator (AWG) is a device that extracts water from humid ambient air. Water vapor in the freshen is condensed by cooling the freshen below its dew point, exposing the freshen to desiccants, or pressurizing the air. Unlike a dehumidifier, an AWG is intended to render the water potable. AWGs are useful where unquestionable drinking water is hard or impossible to obtain, because there is not far off from always a little amount of water in the freshen that can be extracted.
